Climateers Network
BRINGING local citizens, groups, and civic leaders together to inspire and support climate crisis action.
Who we are
CLIMATEERS NETWORK is a catalyst for accelerating positive action on climate change in Northern Nevada.
What we do
OUR MISSION is to encourage local climate groups, concerned students, adults, business owners and civic leaders show up, be seen, and make a difference.
How we work
WE KEEP it simple and effective.
- We do not have members, we have supporters. To become one, sign up here.
- We do not charge dues but do request donations at events to help defray costs.
- We do offer bright green ClimaTEES shirts for city and county council meetings. Get yours at a monthly Climateers Coffee or public event we attend.
- And we do make activism inviting, interesting and engaging.
- Because of this we are an all-volunteer organization—and keep growing because we make saving the world FUN!
- And, when we show up, we make an impact.
Join the fun
ANYTHING worth doing is worth enjoying. And joy shared is joy multiplied. With Climateers, opportunities abound:
- Coffee: Occasional, coffees to cross-pollinate people and groups to inspire action.
- Council: Starting up after the Herculean 2026 election efforts, we will be returning to monthly attendance at local city and county meetings to accelerate change.
- ConFab: Large gatherings to cross-pollinate and inspire greater engagement.
